Nitrogen Reserve nitrate supplement for reef aquariums provides controlled nitrate adjustment using purified water and potassium nitrate, designed for precise and gradual correction in marine systems.

In low-nutrient reef environments, nitrate can fall below levels that support healthy coral coloration, zooxanthellae function, and overall biological balance. Raising nitrate too quickly can cause instability, making measured, incremental dosing essential. At a rate of approximately 1 ppm NO3 per mL per gallon, this solution allows for predictable adjustments without overshooting target levels. Do not raise nitrate by more than 1 to 2 ppm per day, and test before each additional dose. This product introduces a small amount of potassium as part of potassium nitrate and should not be used as a potassium supplement. Produced and prepared in Texas, it is designed for reliable, repeatable performance in established reef systems.
