Powerful, Even Coverage

The Natura iCon MAX is designed to illuminate wide reef aquariums while maintaining usable PAR at depth. Its rectangular panel design and custom reflectors distribute light throughout the aquarium, helping reduce harsh hotspots, excessive light spill, and shadowing between coral colonies.

In manufacturer testing conducted across a 72-point grid, one fixture produced the following results at 24 inches from the light:

• Center average: 470
• Full-grid average: 324
• Lowest measured reading: 160

PAR requirements vary based on aquarium dimensions, mounting height, aquascape, water clarity, coral placement, and selected lighting program. Begin at a reduced intensity and use the acclimation program when introducing this fixture to an established reef.

Full-Spectrum Coral Lighting

Orphek’s mixed-color dual-chip technology combines multiple wavelengths inside each LED package for smooth blending and broad spectral output. Its 390–740 nm spectrum includes UV-violet, violet, blue, ice blue, green, amber, and red wavelengths selected to support coral growth, coloration, fluorescence, and natural appearance.

The expanded blue spectrum combines:
